Petals and Bells "as seen in Tatler" was founded in 2015 to provide

wonderful tea party's or supply china to you for your own

vintage tea party, creating special memories for your wedding,

christening or any special occasion.

It was inspired from my childhood memories of visiting my

Uncle Eddie's farm on a Sunday, sitting around the farmhouse

table covered with a linen tablecloth and beautiful china and his

housekeeper serving us with fresh ham off the bone and freshly

made home made cakes.

I also share holiday  memories of eating wonderful scones with

clotted cream and jam.

Mother also kept her best china in the china cabinet and this came out for tea for special occasions.

These wonderful memories changed into a reality when following a train of events I found myself in a position where I had enough china to offer tea parties. Initially, I expected to be providing small tea parties not expecting to be involved in providing vintage themed wedding tea parties, these now form a significant part of the business.

We have provided wedding tea parties in many wonderful settings over the last 9 years from tipis, marquees and village halls to historic halls such as Gawsworth Hall, Ingestre Hall and Walcot Hall which has just been recognised as one of "Brides Magazine's" top 100 wedding venues in the world for 2018. More recently we have provided wedding at such

wonderful wedding venues such as Sandbach Town Hall,

Norton Priory Museum, Pimhill Barn and Bridal Barn.

One lovely comment from a lady at a christening tea

party, compared our high tea favourably with a well known

London Hotel and complimented our friendly service.

My aim has always been to provide a quality service, a High Tea

with fine tea finger sandwiches (no crusts) and a selection of tasty

cakes and of course the scones, clotted cream and jam. The food

served on beautiful 3-tier cake-stands with china plates, cups and

saucers, cake forks, tea knives and tea spoons and of course fine tea

served in vintage tea pots. I was delighted to be awarded a "5 star"

food hygiene rating by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council.

Strongly supported by my husband and family, my aim is to ensure our service and food is first class to make your special day even more special, whatever the occasion.

This has now inspired my three daughters to have their own china tea sets, which is a lovely tradition to pass on through the family.
